The sponsors of the 2016 tri-national symposium invite abstract submissions of oral presentations and posters. The theme of the 2016 symposium is the past, present, and future of the Sonoran Desert. Please try to incorporate this theme in your abstract and tailor your presentation for a broad participant group including land managers, researchers, and the general public. Abstracts will be accepted until December 14, 2015 (extended deadline!).
Oral presentations should be approximately 20 minutes long, plus five minutes for discussion and questions. Posters will be setup in the back of the main auditorium and left on display throughout the symposium.
Prepare your proposal by downloading the abstract form and saving it to your computer before entering the information requested into the form, including a maximum 200-word abstract.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail as soon as your abstract is received. Presenters will be notified by e-mail in early December regarding the status of their submission.
A computer, PowerPoint projector and screen will be available for all oral presentations. Please indicate any additional equipment or material needs you may have in the comment section of the abstract submission form.
Registration is a completely separate process from the abstract submission process. More information on registration will soon be available on the symposium web site.
Please e-mail the completed abstract submission form to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you do not receive a confirmation that your abstract has been received within a few days, please email again (or call 520-387-3229).
